LEDs on 2014 RS

I have a 2014 LT RS. Of course it has the factory LED rear lights.

My question is can I change my front turn signals to LEDs without resistors now? Did Chevy do something to the computer on the RS models to prevent fast flash on the RS models factory equipped with LED rear tail lights?

Anyone know the answer to this and/or have tried LEDs in front on a 14 RS?

No, you will still need to install load resistors if you plan on swapping a factory incandescent turn signal with an LED replacement.

Still need the load resistors, yes the rears have the LED, but the front and rear are not close to the same.

Does anyone know if a CAN Bus error free bulb would eliminate the need for a load resistor? I just hate those those resistor things. Don't like wiring in, and they get to hot for comfort.

Something like this work?:

IMPORTANT NOTES. PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING:

Your vehicle may require an LED compatible Flasher or Load Resistor. LED brake/tail lamps will not flash with most stock flasher units due to their extremely low current draw ...Please See More LED Car Bulb Notes
The supervision resistor built into CAN bus bulbs are not intended to fix turn signal related issues, such as hyperflashing.
CAN Bus bulbs should work with most cars that have computers that notify you if a light bulb is burned out. However, some vehicles still might have issues - due to the unique electrical systems in these types of vehicles.
For best results the LED color should be the same as the lens color. If bulb is behind a clear lens, use the appropriate color for turn and brake light functions. ...Please See More LED Car Bulb Notes
Can bus is only to let your computer in the car know if a bulb is bad, the load Resistor is for the turn signal flashing speed, if you dont use the Resistor the turn signal will flash much faster then needed.

Thanks for clarification on this. I thought the error free Can bus would tell the computer that the bulb is not out, resulting not hyperflashing because car doesent think bulb is out. I thought it only hyperflashed because the computer thought a bulb was out.

IE: Bulb out=Hyperflash
Can bus does not think bulb is out=No hyperflash

However from what your saying it sounds like even if can bus things no bulb is out, it could still hyperflash.

See the LED draw out a lot less power so the computer thinks there is a problum, that's why you need the risster.

The Camaro does not use CAN bus for its lights.
