Where do you run Pro Stock John? I'm from the western suburbs but am currently living in Beloit WI.

Only track I know of is Byron.

Will it do any harm NOT running TPMS sensors for the winter?
Why not transfer the sensors or buy a set?

I would much rather have them on my winter set up to alert me to low pressure than on my summer set up,its a lot nicer to check your pressures in the summer

When I was pricing out another set it just bothered me that I was going to spend $1200 on brand new tires and wheels and then another $200 on sensors.
Just me being stubborn I guess.

I decided just to buy new tires and mount them on the factory 20's. I'm not a big fan on how the factory wheels look anyway and will buy new rims in the spring to mount my P zeros.

275/40/20 in the front with stock SS rims?

can I run 275/40/20 in the front with stock SS rims? The reason I am asking is that I found a good set of slightly used winter scorpions but they are 4 275's not the stock staggered set up.

Will the front tire extend outside the fender?

You would be better off with the front size all the way around, you want narrower tires in the snow.

If its predominantly wet cold roads and little snow then its ok.

Check eBay for the sensors. I did that and found a brand new set for a really good price. Way better than $200.

I've been following this thread for a little bit and I noticed that different tires have been recommended for different winter conditions. I live in ohio, right on the edge of the snow belt and will have to drive my camaro once a week on the turnpike. I plan on using the 18 inch heritage wheels. Can someone please recommend a suitable tire?
