How low is your camaro?

1.5, went 2inch , but could not ge camber aligned for crap,,wearing the crap out of back tires at 2ic,, went back to 1.5 and camber perfect

I went with the bmr 1.25 and it's perfect in the front, rear has a tiny amount of fender gap. I ended up changing to rear 315/35r20 pilot super sport tires which stick out and I feel any lower may rub on bumps. So overall very happy with them, highly recommended

Yeah, my vote would be 1.25" for sure. It takes away just enough of the wheel gap to give it that aggressive stance without sacrificing much ride quality and running into issues.

FYI, Z/28 suspension package drops the ride height by about 1". If you go with 19" wheels with Z/28 size tires, the overall height is dropped by another .8" (but it will obviously increase the gap).

That's really good to know I was wondering how good those were since they are 1.25" like the apex springs. I plan on doing a 315 size tire in the near future as well.

I got your pm, and I was just wondering if I should just get the springs for now or not. The car currently has 86k miles on it I have no idea if the shocks have been changed but I know they are not leaking.

If they are not leaking, really the only other thing you can do is the "bounce test". Basically, stand in front of the car with your hands on a surface that won't dent or bend. Shift your weight onto that point, pushing the car down, then quickly remove your weight. The car should bounce up and return to its original position rather stiffly, without continuing to bounce. If it bounces more than a couple of times, this is an indication that the shock absorbers are weak.

I went with BC coil overs and forgot how much lower I took it. Pretty low, it just barely gets over speed bumps. Fortunately there aren't many potholes in the roads here! I love the look feel and grip. I may raise it just a bit next time I take it in though...
