Borla ATAK

Is a Borla ATAK exhaust worth the money as in quality and gains?

Yep. If you get long tubes it will be pretty damn loud though.

It is a high quality system but you will not see any performance gains from a cat back alone.

Nobody should ever consider "gains" when deciding a Catback system. I'd challenge that there are neglibile power gains with anything out there today. Nothing worth writing home to mom about or braggin to your friends about.

The ATAK seems to be one of our best sellers due to the lack of nose reduction that it provides. It's a nicely built system that is a breeze to install.

Riding in a car with that system can at times be a bother. You either have to downshift to get the RPMs up a tad or drive faster. There is only about a 200 to 300 RPM range that it is even noticable...but to some folks that is the issue.

Aside from that, it rocks man. Loud and the way a Camaro should sound. Feel free to give us a call or PM for more details on this system.

Here's a great informational video from Borla themselves if you hadn't seen it yet.

Enjoy,

I'm running the Borla ATAK cat back, with high flow cats, and TSP long tube headers.
It is loud! But I like it

I have the Borla Atak catback, HFCs, and LTs. It's loud when you step on it but other than that it is fairly quiet. Hopefully after installing GPI'S SS3 VVT Cam it'll be a lot louder.... or else it's time to order NOWEEDS...
