To me, any markup was not reasonable. That's why I waited for the Wow factor to die off. Their just doing it because they are hoping someone is stupid enough to walk in a pay it.

The sticker should have said..., 65,000 dollars and 25,000 dummy fee.

You know that's BS! Great car but no way it's worth anywhere near $90K. $70K... maybe.

The mark up was about the same for the Challenger when it first came out in 2008. I knew a guy that paid $70K for an orange SRT-8... I believe that's all they sold at first..

That's a pretty ferocious little critter, if you ask me haha.

I love this car. If I didn't want a Z06 so much I'd heavily consider the Hellcat Challenger. Maybe not at a 25k markup though.

Wow 90k for a hellcat that's ridiculous. What does a 14 viper start at? Probably not too far off

There is a difference between "market adjustment" and price gouging. I dispise dealers that mark vehicles up.

Supply and demand my ass, I see it like a video game console, when a new one is released, and is popular, or a limited edition console. The manufacturer puts out an MSRP for that product, WalMart, best buy, amazon, or any other authorized retailer will not charge more for that console, it will sell for the MSRP.

People dont cause enough of a stink over dealer mark UPS, dont know why people think its ok. Could you imagine if you went to WalMart to pick up a XBOX and the person at the electronics counter says "We are only getting 10 of these this year, so its gonna be a grand" And yes, there were times when particular consoles were VERY hard to find.

I bought a 2014 Z/28 for$1000 under invoice. No way I would give sticker when these aren't limited. 2014 Z only 500 and bought less than invoice. It's more than just a go fast car. Hellcat might beat me off the line but I will pass it the first turn we come too.

camarossrs, good thing you got A/c in that z28. when yoiu are zoomin around the track next summer, you can turn the air on and be cool. lool

i dont like price gouging no matter what it is. and i dont like the name Challenger, cause it reminds me of the space shuttle that exploded, and i think Hell Cat sounds silly too. whats next? Dodge Charger Pit Bull?/

I dig the Hell Cat. And by all means let everyone go after this car! If you haven't noticed... the popularity of this and the new mustang have taken a toll on the stingrays resale value. I'm seeing loaded up ones going for low 50's now that were previously 75 new. Its no longer the flavor of the week.

If it doesn't sell, prices will drop accordingly. People pay it to be the first to play. After the dust settles it'll sell for MSPR and under, just like the Z28 now.
