If you are within a 12 hour driving distance from Bowling Green, have never been to a Camaro5Fest and are contemplating it, I would highly recommend that you attend this event. The main attractions of the fest such as Vendor Alley, Drag Racing, Car Show, and parking lot festivities at the host hotel are a given once the announcement is made. I have been to 3 of these and these are always present and just as much each and every time. The remainder of the activities such as Camaro Cross, road racing and trainings, cruises and additional events that may take place outside of the Camaro5Fest event venue 'IF' they do occur, will usually be announce at a later time. Maybe around 4-months before the event date. Also, if GM/Chevrolet do attend this event, once again if they do decide to attend once again, is so neat to meet the people behind the car that you drive and seeing all of the new production Camaros, SEMA Concepts, Indy 500 Pacers and so on is such a sight as you will rarely ever get to see some of the stuff that they tend to bring in person.
One of the best parts in my opinion is getting together with a caravan either set up by a local Camaro Club or group of Camaro individuals and making the trek together for the event and then the feeling you get when you all drive in to the host hotel parking lot and seeing all of the Camaros parked, lined up and people just conversing with each other from all locations of the US is worth the effort to make this.
