I'm running Kooks 1 7/8 I just wished I had gone to 2 inch and had them ceramic coated. The only reason I would have gone to 2 inch now is because I’m blown and running more displacement.

This car is built for LT headers. As long as you get a quality set full stainless steel and use factory gaskets you will have no regrets. It's not like the 4th gen F body or DOHC Ford engine where there is little room and you run into clearance issues. It does absolutely nothing to reliability either way. A good set made from 304SS is going to last forever and should never leak. The only real change from stock is sound and power.

Went with jba shorties and they looked nice as far as power not much different from the stock mannies. Then got SW LTs which is what I should've done first.

What?! Serious question or joke? Regret Headers? If you do, take them off and run stock. Not a big deal. haha

Stainless power, Jannetty tune, no cats, sounds incredible and is a very easy mod on these cars.

Minor one... I should've gotten them ceramic coated and extra bung installed at purchase.
I have one of the early 2010 full ARH 1-7/8" LT system with mufflers. Had the bung installed after initial install. You can order them with it. |
