any good spot to take picts around SD area?

anyone knows spot to take picture around sd like on the picture below? i just watched car throttle video about just car guy things and wanted to make my own pict. lol. preferably somewhere uphill, open area.

Up near Balboa park/zoo there are a couple of places. If you want a great ocean shot, in LaJolla by the glider park or off the 5 at the view area or you could go to mission beach.

MT Soledad has potential, as well as some good desert shots out east near Jamul (which is a great drive) and by Lake Cuyamaca on the way to Julian. I'm always willing to make those drives as well if I am available.

There are a couple really great spots out near Borrego Springs and the drive is fantastic. The picture in my sig is from Borrego earlier this year and in my profile there is another album with a few more pictures I took from that trip if you want to check them out. (this is a good time of the year to visit Borrego its much cooler and some of the desert flowers are in bloom) There is also a super straight section of road in and out of Borrego that would be awesome for some shots if you had some others to help watch for oncoming cars while people setup and take pictures.

Can anyone recommend a good gritty parking garage, or possibly some place with some cool graffiti for some night pictures? I want to try my hand at light painting in the evening with my car as the subject. Thanks.
