So somebody who lives in your building is a ****ing scumbag.

Go talk to building management and look at the cameras, see if they see anything coming in/out like a pickup with 2010 camaro wheels in the back of it, etc.

Wow man I would lose my mind
So wheels were not on the car. I don't know if insurance will cover that now.

i called my insurance and it will be ok (because we paid for the full coverage package).

But they don't wanna paid for GM wheels and tires price, too expensive = 6400$

now i have to choose aftermarket wheels and send quatation, pretty nice for the moment

i think i will order for Giannelle Puerto Black with Machined Accents with Pzero

i will let you know after i will send the quotation to Desjardins

Also time to shop for new insurance company.

Rims arent like replacement fenders where anything will do.

My insurance will pay for exact replacement.

I like the idea of checking for security cam footage tho.

Argue your point.

You lost OEM wheels, make them cut you a check for OEM wheels.

Then feel free to buy whatever.

Like he said call them back and talk to some else thats in charge...try to get a cheque for as close as possible to the OEM price... then buy your own wheels. I don`t understand why they won`t pay for replacement...it`s a stock part of the car. They can`t make you put cheaper tires & wheels!!!!

i don't have security cam in the parking, and the same day, other wheels were stolen (Honda accord coupé).

we had talk to all the building, neighbors, police and put a paper with message in all the floors and parking.

When we call desjardins, they said = we can't send you a cheque, we can pay your bill for new tires / wheels.

it's because the wheels have 4 years and the tires 2, it's not the full full price (around 4500$ for 6400$).

i think if i will buy the package to chevy dealer, they will pay (but maybe increase my cotisation). But i prefer change my wheels and have new tires (pzero same as stock)

They are probably deprecating the wheels and tires. Just like if you paid 45,000 for the car and then 3 years later it was stolen, you aren't getting 45,000 for the loss. Very few companies offer replacement cost but some do have stated value for certain items.

Order up a set of forged wheels, with Michelin Pilots. Make them pay that instead! haha
