You can do that with no tune, or you can run a 10% lower and rotofab with no tune, but you have to add torco to the fuel.

According to JRE you can also run a 10% lower and keep the stock airbox for stealth as well.

Adding Torco to the fuel? Is that for the roto fab install? Travis

I have a quick question. For the 10% pulley and stock airbox can you run a higher flow filter like the K&N or green without entering into knock retard territory?

I like the stealth look.

Thanks,
Chris

Randy, the torco is if you run the 10% lower pulley with no tune. JRE offers a 75RWHP tune and no tune kit. With the tune kit you run 93 octane fuel, but the no tune requires torco, higher octane fuel, to compensate with the stock tune.

I think the 10% is an 8.6, not sure about the 5%. I believe stock is an 8 inch.

An aftermarket filter in the stock box does nothing other than give you a lifetime filter, there is no performance advantage.

Because of this, it is logically possible but I have not tested it to confirm, Only logging the combination will tell for sure.

Ted.

Thanks Jacfab showed over a 200cfm difference between the drop in and the green at 28 inches of water so I wasn't sure. The Vararam folks also showed an increase on their flowbench with stock intake, head on the bench so wasn't sure. If I go that route I'll log and see how it looks.
