"Placebo"? In Kansas? Check back in three months. It's not even winter yet!

In temps below 40* F winter tires have an advantage.

The sidewalls are bit more compliant so you get a smother ride.

The P Zero's do have a lot of road noise,I went to Hankooks for summer.

I drove through 4" of un-plowed snow with slush at the bottom and had no issues with my Blizzaks. I even managed well in the parking garage with slush and ice. I'm looking forward to a bigger snowfall now as a better test!

Looking for help,

Just purchased and 2013 Camaro convertible (new that was still in dealer showroom) with 2LT with RS package. I've tried following tire rack website and not sure which will fit. I know I currently have the 20x8 and 20x9 configuration. Can I move down with new rims and tires (for winter) to 18inch? Will that effect the speedometer?
Do I need to stick to the 20 inch rims? Just looking for help with which configuration I can use.

Thanks
Mark

Almost a month into drivingon the Blizzaks and not even a centimeter of snow yet. In fact, its almost 50 and pouring rain. I hate Detroit.

Same. I've put plenty of miles on my Nittos, but I haven't seen any snow.

Mine have yet to see any snow either. But they have dealt with mud.

And to Mark above I went from 20's to 17's and the speedo is still correct.

Finally got a little bit of snow up here in Detroit, along with near 0 degree temps this week. The Blizzak LM-32's are incredible. I'm driving circles around most of the cars in traffic with a Camaro SS.

I knew the tires would help, but I really did not understand how MUCH they would help. The Camaro is a pretty damn good winter car after all.

4 inches expected tonight with temps tomorrow morning hovering around 0. Should be a real test! Can't wait!

The guys in Western Canada see much more severe conditions -40 to -50C and blowing and drifting snow 1-2 feet are the norms this time of year.

You will plow through that no problem.
