The hydro shield will certainly help with any rain you see.

I have one, been thru some horrible rain storms, even have an opening in the grill to allow more air to the INJEN, (similar to what is cut when installing the air scoop). Never had an issue yet in 4+ years.

I never drive thru puddles deeper than an inch. It is going thru puddles especially deep ones that will get you into trouble. Avoid those like the plague.

Well thanks your experience with having no problems make me more confidence in my purchase. Can't wait to install. Will you feel a difference once installed? An will I have to do a fuse pull once installed or unplug the battery?

You're welcome, like I said, avoid puddles, you don't want it to submerge and suck water, but rain will be no issue, especially with the hydro shield.

I did not unhook the battery when I did mine, all thou it is recomended. The computer will help the relearn within a 100 miles or so. Just go out and drive it and enjoy it. After a few hundered miles you will notice a differance. or should.

Oh and the V6 does not require a fuse pull ever for anything. The computer does the relearn on its own.
