Dome Light HELP!!!

I am a new member to the 5 generation Camaro. Just bought a 2013 Silver Ice LS coupe with 323 HP six....19K on it. Just put in a Kenwood 371 with Schosce HVAC unit. Not something you wanna do everyday. When I got the car I didn't notice the dome light did not function. I think it's shorted somewhere? I am reaching out for help! This is driving me crazy. Fuse is good. Bulb is good. I am leaving it OFF for fear of damaging something. Now where do I begin to get this fixed......My last Camaro was 1969 Big Block 454CI...I built it after surviving Cancer! This new generation is nothing like the old ones, and it shouldn't be, that's why i'm lost. Any help will be remembered forever!

Like I said I could be completely wrong thou...
