Z/28 Good Deal Spotters Thread

In your internet or RL travels have you found a great deal on a new or used Z/28, and you wish to notify other members and visitors should they wish to jump on it?

Post it here so that they are all into one easily fount location rather than scattered among other threads. (if admin want to sticky it for easy reference that would be awesome).

But from now on the idea is to post the sale links and info here as opposed to starting a thread every time.

Not sure what the forum policy is on using it to sell vehicles, so that's between you and them ... this thread is just meant to serve as a reference for folks who want to share great deals without any personal profit and for those looking to buy them or following market trends ... it is not meant as a replacement for a 'for sale' section.

The "deals" that are available on the Z28's are a result of GM giving a 20% customer cash back program on a portion of "aged" inventory of Camaros. So if a Z28 has been sitting on a dealer's lot since last May, it probably qualifies for the discounts. No reduction in MSRP, just a clearing out of old inventory. A great deal on any "aged inventory" Camaro right now.

Also applies to ZL1's one of the dealerships in my post has a yellow ZL1 vert for 25% off as well.

Someone on another forum just told me that this dealer is including two of the 15s in his rebate (a white white and a AG one): http://www.jimgloverchevy.com

The salesman to talk to is called Jared and he's apparently the owner's son.

I'm at a loss as to why the 15s would be included, so either the rebate description above is wrong or there's something else going on. Even if they have five in stock I can't imagine they'd take a $15k hit if those cars really aren't included in the rebate program from GM just to move them.

It's certainly worth a call if one's in the market for a 15MY.

If you do a search on autotrader.com right now and put "any distance" from your zip code in I found at least 2 or 3 that were priced under 60K. And they were brand new yet. $59,990 I believe I saw 2 or 3 of them priced at.

I don't have the exact terms of the Customer Cash Back program, but to qualify the Camaros only have to be part of the oldest Camaros in the dealers inventory. For a high turnover dealer or low inventory, that might be one that hasn't been on the lot very long. The dealers aren't taking a hit on these. This is cash back from GM.

They have a black Z/28 listed with an automatic transmission. Must be some super rare limited edition Z!

There's speculation that in stock Z/28s that have been sitting for a while may be applicable to the current 20% off sale. Anyone know for sure?
