Has anyone test fitted front wheels in back?

Thinking if ordering a square setup for stock rims with pilot super sports for street use to preserve the trofeos for the track. I was wondering how rear fitment of front wheels (1/2" narrower with 15mm different offset) would look and whether they would have clearance issues.

Want the ability to rotate street tires.

I am running a spare set of fronts on the rear while I do some work to my rears, I'm lowered and have no problems.

What do you mean you do some work to your rear?

I've made some cosmetic changes to my fronts, doing the same to the rear

I may be wrong(wouldn't be the first time) but I think fitment is the same.

Rim size is not the same but I think the offsets and chassis dimensions are so by putting fronts on the rear would have the same effect as doing it on an ss if I'm thinking right.

Yes, on a Z/28. Please post a pic if you have one. Curious about caliper clearance and if they stick out noticeably.

According to a wheel fitment calculator online, front wheels used in the rear will have 21mm additional clearance on the inside and will stick out an additional 9 mm. Should be fine. Fronts are 11" wide with 11mm offset, rears are 11.5" with 26mm offset.

Rears will not fit on the front!

A little confusion there, fronts will fit on rear, I think that's what the op is doing, not rears on the front.

Correct, looking to use 11" fronts in the back.
