So is it normal for the a car to be @ 1100 status when I ordered the car about three weeks ago now Maybe because of the holidays and the plants are closed or something?

It depends on the the habit of the dealer..
and when they submit the order...
...the order cycle will close Tuesday...

last you checked in november late it had just departed aus.
i think it may of off loaded in benicia, calif a few days ago... but i dont have any specific info other than what you initially revealed late in november.

So Becky just a quick question again I'm trying to understand how this process works The dealer gives me a order number but that doesn't mean he has actually ordered the car from GM is that correct? Since it's been a month or so now that seems odd to me. Could that mean they don't want to order the car because they'll have to pay for it or be on the clock for payment or something like that possibly. I have had a bad experience before when I ordered my Z06 Corvette from a different dealer in the past and basically never got the car even after a year So this all makes me a little nervous I guess THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP!

The factory will not take any 1LE or ZL1 orders until approx Feb timeframe. Date to be announced. For the time being, you are in a holding pattern until they can be submitted again. The good part is that you will be protected from any price increase if it were to occur.
