How hard have you driven the car?

Be honest....

You may need to have to rotors re-surfaced.

How much pad life if left? Have you looked at the ware indicators?

so I guess I drive it a little hard but I will only accelerate fast when no one is in front of me. I don't slam on the brakes at all, and honestly I barely even use the brakes I use the trans to slow the car down most of the time, and no I have not check pad life/ware indicators, just started happening last week and I noticed it just about everyday since

Pull a wheel or two and see if you have excessive pad transfer buildup on the rotors. check your pad thickness (inside and outside).

Your "hardly use the brakes, just use the trans to slow down" can be contributing to your issue.

You could try bedding in your pads and see if that helps.
You'll need a long straight where you can get up to a decent speed and almost stop to do it. Stay legal! I have an old parking lot I use if I'm not at the track.

It could be the rotors but it's most likely your rear brakes and more then likely the stock brake pads i had this issue and when i pulled the wheels off and checked the brake pads the semi-metallic brakes were more like 75% metallic when i switched them out zero brake noise i've since gone to ceramic but if it is this that amount of metal content will ruin your rotors over time.

new brakes need to be broke in by doing some high speed braking as listed two posts up if not done you will have short brake life and all sorts of noises vibrations etc being a baby with new brakes is a no no drive like a mad man for a week or so then your brakes will work properly

thanks for all the replies, I never did break them in when I got the car last year so I take it would be to late now to do that? and also when I get a chance ill check out the pad life. also could it be something to do with it being winter out and maybe the salt is getting to them?

I have also a 2013 2lt RS package with 24090 miles and my breaks are squeaking bad when the rotors are cold, after warming up the brakes the squeak is not noticeable. I do drive the car. But is their a brembo package for the 2lt package?

The SS Brembo's off a V8 car work great on the V6.

Does any modification have to be done. Is it just rotors and pads or calipers need to be change too?

If you do all 4 corners v6 -> brembo you need to trim the rear dust shields to fit the rotors. Use the brembo pads the v6 pads will NOT fit.

Find someone selling their SS take offs (calipers, rotors and pads).
