Well no need to be a dick about it lol. Your right the RS isn't a model but when you see a camaro that has the RS badge you know its the V6. I know the difference but I always slip up, pretty simple when you see a RS badge is a V6, no badge its a V6, SS badge its a V8. I know the difference the white ss logo mean it doesn't have a rs package, and the red ss logo meas it has the ss package (2SS)

Its early in the morning cut me a break, I just barley got up .
What?? Yea, not quite but close . Go to the next chapter and come back with the correct answer . Now I am busting your chops a bit but you need to get it right, lol.

Do the mods I've done to my V6, 3.91 gears and a supercharger running 12 psi, car gets going in a hurry. Doesn't have the peak torque at low RPM but builds up gradually. Gas mileage goes out the window though.

Just sold the V6 so I can better answer this question in a few weeks.
I feel like if I'm going to upgrade from the 2LS, I'm going to go all out and get a ZL1 convertible. If I could, I'd get a 2012/13 in black...but I imagine by the time I'm shopping for one I'll be eyeing up a Gen6 (or 7!)

The BRZ isn't as fun on the highway, autocrossing , yes but not on the highway. I test drove one before buying the Camaro and it was real flat at highway speeds, you couldn't really accelerate at all without going down at least two gears - plus it burned premium. The Camaro with the 6-speed manual tranny was much more fun for daily driving.

I've heard the BRZ is very..um...buzzy at highway speed.

True, not GOOD mileage but better than many sports car mileage? Yes, the Camaro most certainly stands near the top of a short list of 300+ HP cars that can eek out some decent highway MPGs. It was most definitely the biggest factor in me getting it.

I'm still lost why anyone would get the BRZ. It must be the best handling car in the history of sub $30k cars, because the performance numbers are nothing special.

Is it rationalizing to myself? I dunno.
Yes your completely rationalizing.. i say the same thing when I think about corvettes.. My SS has plenty of power I hardly get to use it but I still want a vette just like you want a v8... And no one cares about gas mileage in a performance car.

It's entirely possible to open up a can of V8 WOT, and it feels great. Either car will get you into trouble just the same, as well as much lesser vehicles.

The V6 feels great and is plenty of fun to drive, and its balance of power is not necessarily a justification or rationalization to buy one or the other, because so much depends on the driver!

This! I find plenty of opportunities to WOT every day on my commutes. And, also I agree, both can get you into trouble and everyone has different rationalizations, get what you want and drive it how you want!

I'm VERY glad I bought the V6, not a lot of opportunities to go WOT on my 2 mile each way commute through residential areas; it would just annoy me to be running a V8 with less MPG burning premium fuel. The 6 can still be fun when I get opportunities to open it up and hit some curvy roads. When I retire in less than three years it'll be a different story...

I had a 1LT before trading for my SS. The V6 has lots of get up and go, for sure. Only difference now is my SS is get up and GONE!

Agreed! Lol when I get behind the wheels of my dad's ZL1....I just can't finish the sentence with something that describes the difference lol but my V6 has plenty get up and go for me. I'm 22. The ZL1 is fun but my gosh I feel if I had that much power daily I wouldn't be on earth long. :( so V6 for me until I get a little older and less of a lead foot lol
