Tape of any kind is a good idea when cutting it with anything other than a rotary like a dremel or cut-off tool. We used a sharp chisel wider than the hose and a hammer on a block of wood. Just don't be shy, hit it hard and once. Makes a nice clean cut as well.

Will have to remember that next time. I plan on swapping my plastic methanol lines for -4 AN lines, more options than what snow performance offers for routing.

Got my cooler today for Christmas!! Now just to buy lines and fittings. MagnumForceGB, when you put yours in did it look possible to do it all with hard lines? Bending up the lines doesn't bother me any, done it a million times, just didn't know if you experienced anything that would hinder this...

Not that I saw, it took a little under 10' of stainless steel hose to do it. Also wouldn't know if I would bend the lines, they are under high pressure.

LOL....I remember this thread...

I ended up just upgrading to the ZL1 after all the research I did on this LFX trans cooler.

I wish finances were there for that. I will have to keep my 2lt for at least 5 years though. I just want to keep it reliable for one or 2 track days per year.

I would put some aftermarket trans cooler though....these V6 trannys get hot at the track.
