Haleyd,

I originally wanted the Summit White for a lot of the same reasons you mentioned- it looks classy, it looks sharp and it's different.

It's funny that you mention the difference in the 'look" of the two cars from the front. I actually chose the V6 over the V8 for the look! I agree the LT version just looks sexier to me (smoother lines and grill) where the V8 looks more aggressive. That was excellent design on the part of GM to come up with two models that would appeal to two groups looking at such subtle differences

I'm getting a 2LT/RS in IOM (I pick it up in Austin, TX tomorrow) and that is about as opposite of white as you can get lol. Today driving to work in my late model black Honda Accord, I noticed a lot of white cars and I'm really glad I'm not getting white now.

It sounds like you've decided on ABM and that's probably the right decision for you. Both colors show the lines (curves) of the car well, and white is definitely sharp but won't grab attention as much as ABM. ABM is a very unique color and will catch the eye from much further away.

I don't know what kind of driver you are, but I'm a Type A and a very aggressive or assertive (lol) driver. So the bad news is I'll have to tone down some of that assertiveness while driving both a car and a color that stand out so much, but it's a trade off I'm willing to at least try to make

Regardless of the color, it's a great car and very fun to drive. I rented a rally yellow one this past weekend and from experience, every guy in a Dodge truck or muscle car will want to race you, or flirt with you, or both

Congratulations and your decision and I hope you are able to sell your other car soon.

HA! reading this i could have sworn i wrote it lol! i'm the same way, with the exception of the iom! i think ABM and IOM are two of the most original colors for this car though! so in a way we are the same there lol!

i'm also a very aggreassive or assertive driver. that's one thing i am a little nervous about with the camaro. i've heard some stories about the blind spots that worry me. but i'm trying to start now and not be so much that way. i'm trying to be patient and not just cut over in to the other lane. i always look but with the camaro i know that the blind spots will make that a little more difficult.

i've definitely decided back on ABM. it was my first choice and i think i knew all along that i would decide on it but i even changed my desktop pic to a white one i found! LOL! but it's back to the abm now! if i could just order it now i would be ecstatic!

I think you should see the ABM in person. It looks way more blue in most pictures, than it does in person. I would have ordered ABM instead of VR, if the real experience matched the pictures from the board. Just my 2 cents.

i've been told by most people that own an ABM that the color on the chevy website matches it pretty closely and that they don't see green like people that don't like the color say they see. either way, i like green, my car i have now is gree! so it won't bother me!

Abygale, If I could have got the SS front fascia without the mail slot, I would have. I think the V6 fascia is sexier overall, and closer to the concept.

I went through the same thing, I originally saw the ABM in person at Disney and it was freaking amazing but i wasn't really a guy color so I decided on black but I teetered back and forth between black and ABM and a few other colors but I always knew I would come back to black LOL Seriously the white looks great but the ABM is incredible under the right lighting I would roll with that one Good luck and send us pics when you get your ride!

Sounds like you've made a solid decision on what makes you happy. Cool! Now what interior color?

i THINK i'm going with black. i have tan now and i swore i would never get a light interior again. even the grey i would get too dirty. i work for a tire retreading shop and i may only be in the office, but i get FILTHY in here. my seat looked like it was black lol. so i think black. my only fear with black though is that it will be SOOO hot. so i'm trying to decide which is more important to me!?!?! should i make a poll for that too? LOL!!!!

I have the beige, and really like it. I wish the carpet would have been beige too, like the gray interior has gray carpet.

Not unless your "seat", thighs, or back get dirty, Beige may work. Otherwise.....black.

Nah, Black is good. I'm getting Formula One Pinnacle Series (ceramic) tinting put on my car this Saturday to help with the heat from the black leather interior. I have to drive my car two hours away (another state) to get it done but I think the extra heat rejection using a ceramic tint will be worth it

I know you said you already decided, but here's a picture of my car that (at least in full sized form) seems to show off some of the right colors. The paint really does change often, though...

I love this color and highly doubt that I'll ever get tired of it!
