I agree with you on the tail lights of the 10-13. It's like Chevy couldn't decide whether to use square or round lights. So they usd both. Square on top and rounded on the bottom. Glad I waited for the redesign.

Thanks for all the input guys. I was just curious. Since I only track once or twice a year I will probably stick with the 2013 I have. The hood vents are kind of neat, lower temps are always good as some one said. Aero improvents are also nice. I also heard that bushings may be different but I think I would only consider moving to a 2014 or 2015 if the actual handling had Improved significantly from stock to stock year. I did not hear that anyone had experienced, or knows of any specific parts (ie. Rotor, pads, bushings, dampers, shocks, tranny, engine, etc) besides areo bits that have been changes out from year to year that has effected handling for the better?

Thanks for all your input.

No significant performance changes from year to year yet (unless you count seats and hood vents performance changes). I have long been curious to see what a stock for stock 2013 vs. 2014+ 1LE (same SS trim) would do on the same road course, same time of day, same driver (you get the point). :-) I doubt you'd see a huge difference but I'm sure if the aero is that much better on later models, and on a longer track, you'd see a small difference with the later being slightly quicker. Again with different drivers, day, and of course once the cars are modified, all bets are off. Would be fun to see someone do a comparison.

I agree that would be interesting, but probably to expensive and not of much interest to anyone except the few of us on this thread of this site....

I agree it would be an interting to compare. I also agree all things being stock the areo bits may make the some small difference on those long courses. Having said all that they all are great all around cars for daily driving and the track, especially at that price point. I have had a Mustang gt and a porsche 911. This has been the best all round car. Before I bought this car I was considering another porsche 911 cab 4S (2006, low miles) like the one 2001 I use to have. It was a great car, with lots of handling and curb appeal for sure, but cost of maintanance is sometime to consider given Im getting on in years. I finally settled on my american pony dream car with 5.0 engine. That's right the Mustang gt with track pack. I ordered it with all the things I wanted. I was 3 weeks from accepting delivery and thought I should at least drive a camaro. Just by accident I tried the suggested 1le and the sales person let me drive like I wanted on a deserted road. I was hooked. I cancelled my mustang the next day and went back and bought the 1le the same day. The mustang was cheaper and I liked the engine but in the long run the 1le handling at stock was the best deal for me. I was no crazy about the brm color at first but it grew on me. An inside joke: My camaro5.com ID is, MUST BE A CAMARO. Obviously a play on words based on my previous mustang fixation.

The 2013 weighs less than the later years in every test I've seen.
