Disk rotor question: differences

from Camaro5 Wiki:

2010 SS OEM Brakes:
ABS
ventilated front and rear rotors
four piston fixed Brembo aluminum front and rear calipers
Rotor diameter (front) (in / mm): 14 / 355
Rotor diameter (rear) (in / mm): 14.4 / 365 / 315
Rotor thickness (front) (in / mm): 1.26 / 32
Rotor thickness (rear) (in / mm): 1.1 / 28

if a rotor is identified with the same parameters (diameter and thickness), why can not i mount other disk rotors (es. 355/32 1-piece or 2-piece bmw, porsche, ferrari) ?

are there other parameters that identified exactly a disk rotors ?
