My brother lost about 30 lbs suddenly, that was when he was diagnosed with diabetes. As long as the docs say you are okay then, I guess you are okay.

Maybe home test your blood sugar for a little while.

I lost 50 lbs. in about 9 months time, eating whatever I wanted.
Went to the doctor because my feet would bother me mostly in the evenings.
Diagnosed with pre-diabeties, now I watch what I eat (low carb. diet) and feeling better, but the weight is staying off so far.

41. I grew up a hockey player from the age of 3 (goalie) and did a number of years in the Navy as a SAR swimmer so I'm used to being lean and athletic. I just never knew the body would sometimes take over and drop some excessive weight.

Maybe it's time. After 3 years of surgeries and a long recovery I think the body is sending a message telling me it's ok to get back on track.
