Fuse Question

Attempted to replace my license plate bulbs with new LED's (thinking that the old bulbs were burnt out). The new bulbs won't work either.

I'm thinking it's one of 2 things:

A. The fuse controlling the license bulbs
B. The license bulb assembly, wiring and all needs replaced.

Does anyone know what fuse is related to the license bulb?

I've checked the diagrams and the only thing relative that I could find was 'trunk' fuse. I wouldn't think that would control the license bulbs though.

have you checked the fuses in the trunk?
I think the trunk fuse is the fuse for that block.

I think the trunk fuse is the fuse for that block.

What's interesting though is the fact that my trunk light still works.

I haven't seen that until now. I'm not exactly sure what that diagram is telling me.

Since your Trunk Light works I'm guessing you have a wiring problem. Test power and ground wires going to license plate bulbs.

You have a broken ground or a wiring fault from the BCM, or possibly a failed BCM output.

Check F29 in the IP fuse panel. If it is blown you have other problems.

Reverse lights are in order. I'm going to check said fuse to see if that leads me anywhere

Did you try inserting the led lights both directions?
