Still as great as they were and I had 15k into tasteful mods in my 1/LE they couldn't stack up to the Z.

The ZL1 is amazing! I'm bummed out that I didn't get to drive it today & I can't wait to get behind the wheel again. I can't believe I own one (very lucky to have the wife I do, that'll support my passion).

The SS was the first car I ordered & ordered sight unseen, my wife & I spent countless hours picking a color. Then all the work painting the emblems & getting the car perfect. It was hard to part with, but even though I took a loss over local at least i won't see it being driven around.

Here is a reply i received when i asked about the 20% a few members have received on brand new ZL1s..

We do but the ZL1 and Z28 are not a part of the 20% rebate offer from GM. The 20% rebate is only offered on the 15% of inventory that has been here the longest.

Dealers and their sometimes completely ignorant sales staff are either 1) not fully up to speed on the programs, 2) will lie about a program to try and bluff you into thinking they are right, or 3) misinterpret offers completely.

I've ran into this with not only car dealers but others such as lawn equipment, appliances, etc.

Unbelievable but 100% true.

Dealers are for the most part idiots. I called the top rated Chevy dealer in Washington today and asked if they had any 2015 Camaro zl1 summit white or blue ray metallic manual trans. Can anyone guess the first question to come back from the sales men's mouth?

That just means that whatever dealer you are talking to has some other Camaros that are older inventory, and thus the ZL1s/Z28s that they have do not qualify because they are not one of the 15% oldest Camaros in stock at the dealer.

I still don't have my ZL1 home yet. I completed all the paperwork, signed the title on my 2LT over to them, but it was 30 degrees out and I didn't want to drive on the stock tires in the cold, especially since it would be the first real driving of any length I had done in it (an hour and a half to get home). I am having winter wheels/tires delivered to the dealership on Friday from TireRack. I went with Sottozero Serie II 285/40/19 all the way around and what I hope is a pretty good looking rim in person. I am hoping to pick it up on Saturday, but now we are supposed to get a wintery mix of slush, so I'm not sure about that now either. I may have to wait until next Monday.

lmao.... BTW they stop making the BRM color for the 15 year! The 14's was the last to have the BRM! My 13 was the BRM that's a sweet color when sunny!

That's the way that read to me also. The ZL1 & Z/28 that they have don't qualify for the 20% rebate because they are not the oldest in stock.
