CAI help please

I want a CAI really bad, what CAI is best for the LS3? Also, do you have to get it tuned after adding the CAI?

CAI here as well. No CEL. But....

When I did go in for headers and a tune, my tuner says, "You were running quite a bit rich" and "airflow to the MAF is everything".

Conclusion? A lot of people here will state emphatically that you don't need a tune with just a cai. Just remember, they aren't reading the air/fuel mixture on your engine, so they don't really know what you need. And if you're not going to open up the exhaust, allowing for more air in isn't doing much for $400.

I have a K&N Black-hawk intake and i love it! Its subtle enough of a change since the filter and intake tube are black, but provides noticeable gains.

CAI or Roto Fab. They both will perform so close that you will not be able to tell a difference. What it will come down to is the look you want. With the CAI you have to remove the cover every time you need to fill the windshield resivoir unless you do the relocate.

everyone is just going to say the brand that they have is the best. you're really not going to notice a difference in power between different brands as they all have a very similar design, aside from the over the radiator style cai's.

so its all down to what you think looks best really. I personally love my ADM.

My first 2010 SS mod was a Cold Air Inductions intake. I have been very happy with it.
