They are brighter. I wouldn't say that they are a ton brighter, but they are brighter.

enough for me, i'll be buying this when my funding looks bigger, i've been itching for rgb rings that are also a bit brighter than stock, and i've never had good experiences with opening headlights

Got the V1 kit today from my wife and kids for Christmas. Is there a plug that you can get for the fog lights as well? I also now need the bulbs for the dlr and fogs.. What do you suggest for close color.

Joe got my bumper off again for 2 things my ZL1 upgrade and adding the grill strip to the frame bar, I have the video for the install halos and the grill light question is how far down do you install the strip down from the top 1/4 - 1/2? - by adding zl1 fogs now Gen5diy sold me a harness that adapts to the bumper harness like yours i will find out if i can adapt two harness...

Ohh and i went through the color correction and defaults , the video helped..

thanks

We sell the 5000K bulbs on our site. These match the headlight color very good. For the fogs, we have the 80W H11. For the tops, I believe you would need the PSX26W.

We used to sell a ZL1 harness to control both sets of lights but found too many people not installing LED fogs and blowing the driver because the factory halogens would draw an enormous amount of power. Contact me via email please: joe@nightowlleds dot com.

Just keep the strip near the top. Doesn't really matter how far down. Just be very careful not to pull the wires very hard in any direction. The solder joints can break off if pulled too hard.

Probably can stack the two harnesses. Plug ours into the car side first, then gen5's, and then the bumper.

I had to move my box when I added the new front end, get you pictures in a bit

UPDATE........

When i added the ZL1 bumper to my RS car I had to move my version 1 NightOwl BOX, on the lower grill (pass side) theirs a tab with one hole in it and i used that to for a nut and bolt with a lock washer, the other end of the box (towards the bumper) fit perfect where the tabs come through.. its nice and secure and basically out of the direct weather...

Thanks for the help 3400. I did manage to mount it under the fuse box. Almost need an extension for the DRL harness but got it done. Here's a pic of how I mounted it.
