Its a very tedious process and LOTS of testing to find that magic sweet spot with all of it working together. Im really looking forward to the new year and making this happen once and for all.
Amen!...my good buddy is attending a tuning class with the holley guys...Ill keep you posted.

The slp and mods i have on mine make it a blast to drive on the street...but if i was interested in racing the car..(track or street) i would go with a centri or turbo set up..trying to hook this car up under 40 mph on street tires..(295-35-21) is pretty much useless..epecially in cooler temps..

even trying to hook on drag radials in this cooler weather with suspension mods is useless, my goal this next year is to go down to 17 or 18 inch wheel/ tire drag radial combo to hook a lot better.

I wouldnt be so quick to jump to smaller wheelsOf coarse they would be better but setting the car up properly should be the first step.I can cut low 1.7x sixtys on my 22s at 50lbs of air pressure, with the stock 20s im sure i can go low 1.5xs..Make the right adjustments and the cars hook pretty well on stock tires.

I 2nd that, plenty of procharged and ECS kits in my town on 5th gens and none of them can keep up with my maggie max2 and cam combo, it doesn't fall off as stated, makes power straight up to 6,800 where the Dyno operator stopped, limiter is set at 7,000.

I had about 680/620 before when we all meet up and ran several times, they had the same hp as I did, didn't matter, I'm 803/741 now on 13 psi.

Does it make sense to assume if you have a roots style that gives early power, and a cam that makes top end power, that would give you a good pull all the way through?

Yup. As long as you don't over cam it. Go too big on the cam and you can significantly reduce the bottom end power.

This is what I did, I'm not running what everyone say you should with a PD blower, didn't lose that much down low (over 600ft 2,000rpm), but gained a lot up top all the way to redline.
