well it sure beats my 8 almost 9 year old Pioneer. the only thing I do not like about my new AV is that my PS3 (which is my primary blu ray player) is just not good enough to send out the signal to the AV so it shows up as DTS HD or True HD. I called up Onkyo and they said if I use a stand alone blu ray player those have the proper hardware to send out the audio instead of 'dumbing it down' like the PS3 does. So I am gonna get a blu ray player which is good cause it will put less wear and tear on my 3 year old PS3 (I use it as a BR player a LOT more than I play games on it).

AV? Couldn't you just use a HDMI cable from the console to the receiver and then route it from the receiver to the TV? Or use the fiber optic output for sound? I have a original PS3 that I use as my blu ray player and get full 1080p and 5.1 dolby digital. I guess I'm a little cofused... |

you only get True HD and DTS HD when hooked to the AV via HDMI.

Commits weekly crime
|
Just bought these (Pirelli Scorpion Winter tires) for my Q5. Made crossing the Rocky Mountains in the winter pretty damn easy.
On I90, I was passing people in the left lane in snow, while the slower cars were on pavement & ice in the right. I kept yelling "QUAAAATTTRRROOOOOOOOO!!!" as I'd pass them. Hope that isn't too weird. And, these are not the actual tires (this image was posted on Camaro5 before, lol).
