This is my second order, original order # A02513974 on 10/14/08. I found out my dealer had my car for sale online before it ever arrived 6/1/09, they ended up selling it for $12,000.00 over MSRP due to a Market Adjustment that was not disclosed to us at the time of order and there was nothing I could do about it:(
However reordered from Kelsey Chevrolet in Purcell Oklahoma about two hours from where I live on 6/17/2009 and am now at a TPW of 8/31/09!
Is there anyone else in Oklahoma with a 8/31/09 TPW?

Hello all of you happy TPW 8/31's! Here is my story. Wife and I go to our dealership June 16th. We'd like to order a new camaro. No problem, we can order it now, takes 6 weeks. Wow, 6 weeks? Great, lets do it. 5 weeks later, we are still at 1100. WTF!!! Dealer "Had no idea" he needed an allocation. 2 more weeks. Still at 1100. WTF!!! My wife gets mad enough to call the GM customer care line. The guy she spoke to not only got us to 3000 the very next day, but put my wife on hold, called our local dealership, and chewed their a$$!!! He told us you will have your car in 6 weeks. I am more than anxiously awaiting the day it arrives!

I'm a 8/31 as well. I ordered from a dealer about 45 miles away after being told by the local dealer that they could get me one but kept dodging the question "do you have an allocation". I ordered on 6/27 but it took until 8/4 to move to 2000 partially due to the 6M problem. I ordered a 2SS/RS Victory Red/black interior 6M LS3 and can't wait until it arrives! Will make a great garage mate to my 69 SS 396 Camaro! I already have a California cover with "Camaro SS/RS" embroidried on it, Camaro SS floor mats and a Zaino kit waiting for it's arrival.

3300 = Scheduled For Production (Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle)

the date is your TPW = Tentative production week (the week your car is scheduled to roll down the assembly line and be built)

I may be the only one depressed about my TPW of 8/31... Found out I was being laid-off around the same time I got the TPW of 8/31 do not think I will be able to afford one now hope I will be able to get my $500 deposit back.

Sorry to hear that but in this economy most of us could be in the same boat as you at any time. Scary! Hopefully you can find a new job and be able to still get your Maro.

That's the same day I ordered mine and I've got a TPW of 8/31 too!
