14/15 RS Fog Light Bulbs
Has anyone tried these? http://www.amazon.com/Exlight-H11-LE...ywords=h11+led
I'll be buying some LEDs from Diode Dynamics (map/trunk/license plate) and want fog light LEDs as well. They're $40 from DD, but the ones above are $14 and seem like a good deal. Any feedback is much appreciated!

Well, I bought them last night....for $14, I'll take the chance. If they suck, I'll buy a pair from DD.

Yes let us know. I was thinking of 5000k for the color more so than 6000k which has a blue hue to it.

I bought the same ones from Amazon, they're not extremely bright but they're a super awesome match.

i have led fogs as well...they are kind of a waste of money...the color matches but you can barely see them. they dont throw light the same way a regular fog light does. I'm sure its due to the fact that theyre in small projector housings as well. I might switch to HIDs eventually.

Good to know. I didn't buy them for light projection, I figured they weren't great as fogs, I just hate the yellow...need em to match the halos and HID headlights.

Here's something to keep in mind when buying LEDs
Most of the models you find on eBay and Amazon will not have a constant current design so they won't be very reliable, and they use loosely binned LEDs which leads to mismatched colors. Nick C.

Thanks Nick, good to know. If they prove to be crappy, I'll be placing another order with you. Thanks for the quick shipment of my order from yesterday!

Well.....they looked like they'd work, but no-go. The terminals on them were spread much wider than the picture showed. They also had wider prongs that twist into the housings than shown in the pictures.
So they're going back. Good news is the DD LEDs are in and look great. Guess I'm gonna order the fog LEDs from DD!
