Also I thought I remember you guys having to change something on the LF3 hpfp to make it fit the LFX. Is that right or is it a direct bolt on?

We had to change the lash cap. That was it.

Thanks for the update, sorry to hear about the bottom end issue. That's a bummer.

Doesn't sound like it is bad. Aaron said they pulled out as soon as they heard the noise and the first inspection doesn't show any signs of scoring. Guess we'll know more when they get it torn completely apart. Oh well, that's life.

Well, I guess I'll just say congrats...and bummer!?
Getting to that power level without the user of the supplemental fuel system is a nice break through. Just sucks that she decided to break when you pushed her too hard, but your right...that's just the way things go when you push them! That beast is making over 700HP....I think that's plenty "un-reasonable" for just about 99% of anyone out there lol.

Forgot about this thread, LOL. Yeah, the LF3 pump is working and we converted the plate for the supplemental fuel over to spray the meth. I am not sure I will leave it like that, it all depends on how much losing the cooling affect I lose.
It wasn't without drama. We went lean on one of the pulls and ended up spinning a hearing. That in turn bent the crank a bit. They just got through putting the new crank in and I just need to find time to go pick it up and put it through a break in cycle. Maybe next weekend.

Direct meth injection! That's interesting! Glad to see it's all coming back together.

Well, port injection but still pretty cool. I probably won't know until summer if my IATs are staying good, but yeah I think I've got it where it is going to stay.

Yeah, I've been a slacker when it comes this thread. I started a new job in June, we just closed on a house and are trying to sale the one we are in, so I haven't had time to spare for the car project. But that will change this spring I hope. New house has 4-car garage, so one will get a lift. I also have something else I'm working on (car related), but it doesn't involve the Camaro...

Saw this and thought about how your LLT TT build could have been.

Well, I have some sad news and some glad news. First the sad...I'm getting rid of the Camaro on a few months. The glad news...I placed my order for a 2015 Z06 yesterday!
