Eco mode will be great if you ever have to allow someone else to drive your car. If I ever have to leave it somewhere where they might be tempted to "test drive" it.

I finally got my email from Vitesse. My controller will be here Wednesday.

yea I have never seen people go so bonkers over something. I think this may be a better investment than a vmax.

where are you all buying the Vitesse from?

Same here!...I am always very hesitant to do any mods to my Camaro however reading all of these posts makes me want to buy one but my BIG question is where is everyone mounting the controller?

Looks like most are mounting it just below the DIC on the steering column. I am going to try and mout mine to the right of the column where the HUD controls go. I think the display might be a distraction if it's right in my line of sight.

Not at all true!!! I have had mine for over 2 months with no change in fuel economy. This thing only speeds up the reaction time/ reduces the lag, doesn't mean that the car REDLINEs when you step on the pedal. My car reacts quickly now, I don't burn rubber, I could if I wanted to though.
I mounted the square box under the steering column with the 3M tape, this keeps the wires that connect to the gas pedal tight, up, not dangling. I mounted the control module on the left side, just above the light control knob and ran the wire between the dash and the steering column. I didn't want to be distracted, as it changes numbers. This is truely "THE BEST BANG for Your BUCK!!!".

how does this thing attach? I'm guessing from another thread you unplug the wiring at the throttle pedal, insert this thing, and re-plug.

I'm guessing this thing just "amps" up the output signal. so if you at 20% throttle position, it's sending a 40% throttle position to the ECM. the various setting adjust the multiplier.

either GM purposely wants some delay there... or their computer is just too slow.

million dollar question: does this void the powertrain warranty? I'm guessing it be smart to remove if you ever need service so they don't void your warranty.

I have had a tune done on my SS, does that mean that this throttle controller would provide no change to my car? Does a tune have anything to do with throttle response?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm not much of a motor head.
