This is Dragonlady's friend with the 4th gen piping in to say that the wife and I will be there.
Did I hear someone say poker? Boy I don't know, gambling, fast cars, alcohol...not too much missing from this weekend!  The wife's actually making noise about staying longer/heading someplace afterwards, anyone have any suggestions on where to go? Dan |

Just talked to Merc on the phone. I may be rooming with him. I'll hold off booking until I know for sure. Kamloops -> Vernon -> Sicamous is a great idea for a different route, won't add Much time at all. An hour max. A poker tourney on Sunday night after the cruise is also cool if we get some interest. A few hours max for this. Play money only. Or $5 to enter, winner gets a prize.

looked a littele closer at the salmon river rd it actually goes back to salmon arm but to cross over to enderby you take a turn off salmon river rd. and so fourth. i must have been thinking otter lake rd to armstrong good road too but farther towards vernon.
salmon river to haywood armstrong rd then onto hullcar road then onto canyon road to enderby |

Its all good...played tourney poker with our crews (not actual hotel tourneys) in lots of hotels throughout BC while working. Hotel doesn't care....theyre making money off the rooms and food etc. Many different ways to play.....one table, two tables, losers table, time limits etc. Set a buy in and re buys if you want 1st 2nd 3rd place or winner take all.
I have some chips? Anyone else? Lets get a head count and then set up some tables and house rules,etc. No need to get serious....just your ordinary poker game at a buddies house !!! You may have to work some magic Merc so we can BYOB to the meeting room. Since this is our fourth year, they should be showing some leniency. All other hotels I have played in have been ok with this, cant see why this one will be any different. Lets see what happens !!!
