Violation Tickets / Law enforcement confrontations....

So, I was thinking on my drive to work this morning, I have NOT had any tickets or any warnings (knocking on wood)since I bought my 12 Camaro. I admit, I should have a whole stack of them....

Heres the request: post what tickets you feel you would have given yourself, the ones you KNOW you should have gotten if a cop was around, And for those 'unlucky' drivers, go ahead and list the ones you HAVE gotten too...

Be honest.....

I got stopped last night for the 3rd time in as many months. He thought my exhaust was aftermarket (only sound increasing mobs i've done are fuse pull, intake, and the factory upgraded exhaust. its pretty loud at 3500+ for a V6.) All of them speeding, doing 10-15 MPH above the speed limit.

I've never been ticketed. Two verbal warnings, one written warning.

Hoping this luck keeps on lasting!

2012 - 15kph over ticket in 2LT Camaro
2013 - 10kph over ticket in 2LT Camaro
2014 - 15kph over ticket in 2SS Camaro

I have honestly improved my driving habits as of lately. Every time I drive "spirited", I think of what this could do to my job. I need my licence to drive where I work. If I go out and lose my licence, I wont have a job to pay for my insurance. Forward thinking.

I haven't had a ticket in over 25 years. The last one I was given was for going 28 in a 25 mph zone, yep... 3 mph over.

I have not done anything to warrant being stopped for anything. I did get stopped once in one of my older Vette's by a cop who walked around the car three times, then came to my window and told me my front license plate was crooked and possibly loose and that I should have a look at it. That was that. I was pulled over once years ago for going too fast in a school zone, but when I informed the officer that I was new to that area and was not aware, he simply gave me a verbal warning. I think I was in a Firebird that time though I don't rightly recall for certain. Licensed and driving exclusively performance cars (80+ of which only 2 were 4 cylinder and only 3 have been V6) since 1978.

I haven't had a ticket in about 17 years and that was for rear-ending a black car with tinted taillights making a left turn with no signal on an unlit stretch of road. I've had a few chances to stretch the Camaro's legs since I bought her but none at speeds that would get me thrown in jail. I guess I drive more conservatively than most here from what I've read.

Two stops... both of them should have been speeding tickets, both times they cited me only for tinted windows after giving me some fair warnings. Thing is I think they just couldn't determine how fast I was going. Both times I was surprised to see the cop, and I'm sure the cop was surprised to see me too.

Yeah.. that sounds wrong. I would be furious over that one.

My last ticket was in 93... 87 in a 55 outside Wilmington NC.

Bet that one hurt..

Here in Oregon anything 30+ (maybe 20) over the limit is a reckless driving ticket and charge, too.

Cop didn't like the way my car looked pulled me over and asked if I knew how fast I was going and me being stupid said the speed limit with the flow of traffic. Pulls out his radar gun and shows me that he clocked me going 50mph ....... In a fricken 45mph zone. I was like seriously You give people power and the abuse it sometimes
