Not that I am doubting you, but why is it more important on a v6?

Get the catch can next!!! You don't know how much oil it's getting sucked in and caking your valves if you don't. Cheap and easy to install

The V6 is direct injected so it does not have the gasoline cleaning and cooling the intake valve causing any oil injested through the PCV system to cook on the intake valve and cause a carbon buildup.

What are the benefits? Just a much more aggressive throttle response?

Because I've noticed in first sometimes it feels like the car is deciding whether or not it wants to go WOT even if I have my foot hard time.

I mean it explodes after that but I've noticed some hesitation

Not sure if it's the same on the V8 but on mine if you go WOT you really don't notice the difference, but at part throttle applications it can be very aggressive if you use the higher settings. Probably the biggest difference would be noticed up to a 50% throttle application. But I am just guessing.
