Three Issues

Any help would be appreciated!

1. Rear suspension sounds like I have 300 balloons rubbing together when I hit bumps. Since 16500mi. Even when I have an empty trunk and take my spare out. It is driving me crazy. New exhaust installed to lessen what I hear.

2. Rear driver's side wheel has a noise that sounds like bike tire that has a baseball card hitting it but not as fast. It is proportional to speed and happens in N. Most pronounced around 35 to 42mph. Loudest at 39mph in a hard turn either way. Wheel bearing?

3. LFX "chirps" at idle. I replaced the belt but that was just a waste of time. All pulleys were free and lubed. I cannot get a good video of the noise sadly. Anyone else have this one?

The most important is #2. Two dealers claimed not to hear anything. They refuse to let me drive the tech in the backseat (it would help to go faster than 10mph around the block or 15 in bursts through the lot...). I have tried three dealers and I KNOW for a FACT that this noise is not normal/ nonexistent. The third dealer pissed me off so much that I was ready to put the joyriding tire burning tech through my window and then hit him with 10yrs of prison worth of socket wrench.

My car dumb friends even ask about the noise. After that last dealer I would prefer to figure it out without their "help." Nothing obvious on the wheel.

Go to a Cadillac dealer. When I rolled into one with my stock pile of issues, they at least fixed the first batch of problems on the first try.

bigblockz8,

Thanks for your post, but I do apologize to read that you're experiencing three vehicle concerns. Your displeasure is certainly understandable. Although you have utilized several GM dealers, feel free to let us know if you'd like us to follow up with any specific dealer about their diagnosis. We are unable to guarantee any particular outcome, but wanted to extend an offer of assistance after seeing this thread.

Kind regards,

William R.
