I was googling around a bit and I don't think you can transfer points, and if you can it would be to immediate family members only. Good luck! Don't get stuck paying $10k for points you can't use!

If I'm not mistaken the maximum redemption allowance is $1,500 on points.
I got 4k off msrp on mine (2k dealer discount + 2k suppliers discount)

Haha, yeah, there's definitely a limit on the amount of points you can use unfortunately. As of a month ago, you could add someone to your card and they could use the points though. They may have changed it recently but I know I purchased points last month from a member on here and it worked, saved me a few hundred.

Dude time to shit or get off the pot lol. Just buy the car and put a smile on your face knowing that no matter what it was definately worth it. Or don't lol. Cars are not investments, I took a hit trading in my Titan but it was worth it because this thing brings a huge smile to my face every time I turn the ignition.

Depends on the card but the max you can use (at least back in 2012 with the old card) was $3500

yep. I have no limit on points, but I think I have to use them in 7 years or something like that. BUT...I can turn them in for full value cash in $50 increments. So no, selling them for 50 cents on the dollar when I can get full cash back from the GM Card doesn't make sense for me.

What card do you have? I have the original (5% back) and still have limits by vehicle and I can't cash out

I know there are rules, but we were able to use almost $4000 on our car in 2013. That plus GM's $1000 was nice. I also know that the points expire, so if someone has 20,000 points, they are one credit card using mofo!
