We had a pretty good laugh about it! He was a good sport, not like some of those corvette guys who think their cars are untouchable stock...

my Camaro has long tubes muffler delete a vararam and a rhino79/gpi tune and I ran a c7 that claims he was stock but im 100% positive that he had a tune on it cause well he was tunung cars in the staging lane. I went 12.4 with a little wheel spin cause there was coolant on the track. he went like 12.023. I drug him for about 1000ft. I was running nt05 and he was on nitto 555r

My mods are in my sig. I was approached by a guy in an auto C7 with some exhaust work done (not exactly sure what, but it was pretty loud) while doing 60mph on one of the fine highways in Mexico late one night about 2 nights ago. I was at his rear tire, and he took the hit. By the time I was at the top of 4th he was a solid 1 1/2 to 2 cars behind me.

Since when you need a stroker or cam to beat a C7 thats not really much faster than a C6 LS3? Thats crazy shitt right there. Go look at the fast list of both LS3 and C7; C7 seems to launch better and has slightly better mph, but not much on the average. From 118+its a hero run on hero track and DA IMO. C7>C6 LS3, but its not a solid 120mph IMO.

Yeah you have to take a lot in to consideration, my Camaro is stroked with a cam yes BUT is delivering 468rwhp to be exact & 472 tq through a stalled 4l80e. Now we all know how much hp that trans can eat up on top of my low compression 9.5:1 through stock exhaust & intake. Now if we took my set up in my Camaro with a few changes for a true NA car it would be a different story. Example 418ci with 10.5:1-11.5:1 compression stick car, intake with full exhaust will net the extra rwhp & tq needed to beat a stock C7. I would go out on a limb & say a stroker motor is not even needed to beat it, the stroke will net you a few extra hp yeah but it really don't shine until you add something to help it breathe better like heads, tb, ported manifold, intakes ect.
