I've seen a Chevy Equinox pull someone over, and I have also seen Mustang's, Camaro's and I think a Challenger before.

Saw a Honda Accord with red and blue lights inside the car and the grill area before in my area. That was really weird seeing that light up someone.

Q587: What should I do if there is an unmarked police car travelling behind me flashing me to stop?
The following is advice for anyone who feels vulnerable were she (or he) to stop. In many cases there may be several of you in the vehicle or you are confident you can deal with the situation, in which case this advice may not be for you.

An unmarked police car can stop vehicles, but it must contain a constable who MUST be in uniform in order to carry out the stop.

If a car flashing for you to pull over or stop is unmarked, unless you are 100% certain it is the police, do not stop. Drive steadily to the nearest public place (for example a petrol station where they are open till late, a police station or somewhere there are a lot of people) and then stop. If you are in a relatively deserted area, as a last resort, consider looking for a house that is obviously occupied and pull into the driveway. (You can always apologise to the householder afterwards.)

Try and signal that you have acknowledged the request to stop and indicate the action you are taking (put your flashers on or signal by pointing from the driver's window etc.). Don't drive off at great speed making the police think you are trying to get away.

Keep the doors locked until you are happy it is the police. Have your mobile at hand just in case. You can ask to see a warrant card, which should carry a name and photograph, through the closed window.

Incidentally, if you are suspected of drink/drugs driving none of these actions would invalidate an officer giving you a preliminary screening test as you have only temporarily interrupted your journey and are still driving for the purposes of that law.

In MN you have to pull over/yield to the red and blue lights. The vehicle doesn't matter.

A chevy van sure is unusual, it would make me want to call 911 to make sure it's actually a police vehicle. Kinda creepy.

Then again, I wouldn't expect anything less from a nuthugger site like that.
I dont understand why the animosity towards a website like this obviously they are a little overzealous in what they do but they deserve a bit of merit. You are lucky you were never born in a country that has a police force that can make you disappear in a heartbeat for the most trivial things. But then again when you live all your life in 'Murica everyones nuthugger that seems anti establishment because its the cool thing to do.

Indiana state police have Ford F-150s. They are plain Jane white work trucks they use mainly in construction zones. They also have mustangs

Not me, but I saw a lady pulled over by 2 LEO's one was in a pearl white Cadillac Escalade that had absolutely no outwardly visible signs of being an LEO; no spot light, no markings of outwardly visible lights until turned on. There were lights along the bottom of the windshield, top of the back window & behind the grill.

Hubby & I were also behind a Dodge Pickup truck that was all tricked out but it had LEO markings and a bumper sticker that said it was confiscated from a drug dealer. I thought that was funny & commented that that is probably where the Cadillac Escalade came from too.

Those white F150s piss me off. They are so f****** boxy and flat on the sides it's hard to tell from a distance if they are actually LEOs. What makes it worse is everyone around here has a freaking white F-150 xlt. I've said it before but it would be so much easier to spot a white Crown Vic with a dresser size lightbar on it. Lol

If you are able to, just look at the plates. They are all #s with no letters, unless it is their personal vehicle. I have yet to see a leo, marked or unmarked, that does not have #s only on their plates.
