Supercharger Failure?

Cleaning the engine this morning and removed the cover to find the picture below. The fluid has a red hue to it. I am not hearing any signs of the isolator rattle but is this an indication of a failure? Thanks in advance.

That's coolant. Check the connectors to make sure they're on correctly. Hopefully it's not coming from somewhere else.

its common for a little bit of coolant to be able to leak out if the supercharger for really hot. Make sure the locking clasp is secure, and it should not leak anymore. Be careful with the locking clasp, it is a very tricky clasp and if you do in wrong it could break.

coming from that metal plate that seals to the hat of the supercharger or one of the quick connects to the intercooler hoses. The coolant is dexcool which is that color.

Thanks guys. It is coming from the metal plate at the top as I can see signs of where it is running down.

Here's what the tech found when my S/C was replaced. I had noticed occasional puffs of white smoke on startup. There were no oil consumption issues. I had been adding a total of around 1/2 cup Dexcool to the intercooler system per month.

That sucks. Hopefully your warranty is still intact.
