The build to play fair.
If it's quiet but still fast, does that make me unfair? lol So the car is going to be back in my hands very soon. Here is the outlined parts and how I got there. Look here and see if this meets your desire to reach the numbers. I will post graphs after this is done.
2011 Camaro SS 43k miles LSA blower kit from ADM (pulley change and ported snout) GMPP heads (@.551" Intake:349cfm Exhaust:250cfm) LS9 cam (.562"/.558" 211*/230* @ 0.050) ADM air intake Stainless Power headers (cat delete) Magnaflow 3" catback Driveshaft shop DS GM 3.45 gears Posi Mod Tune by Andy Stock bottom end, stock torque converter, and stock transmission still in the car. The converter and transmission might not last. lol |

Looks like a nice build, I don't know how "quiet" it will be though, lol.

It already idles very quiet. Just a tad above my 2.5" with Magnaflow resonated x pipe and Borla touring catback. Under throttle, it's just a bit louder. I'll post videos.

It's dirty under there!
551/512 on pump gas/~8 pounds of boost/stock air intake. Waiting on the ADM air intake to get into stock. Those pieces are popular at ADM. I've got to wait a few weeks to see how the pump gas tune gets. Next is the ADM air intake, 8 pounds of boost, and race gas. This is the track configuration. The other boost and the race gas should make for a nice increase in usable power. Now it's a waiting game for the air intake. That will show me the final numbers of the pump gas tune and let us do the race gas and additional boost tune. Car drives like stock in the city! It's a beast already. Can't wait to see what it does! Correction to actual boost level at first dyno and possible change to pulley. Last edited by Juice2SS; 02-20-2015 at 07:26 PM. |

DAng .... That's pretty much the setup I want to run, only difference is that i want to use 2" headers. Glad to see someone thinks along the same line as I do. How are those GMPP ported heads doing? I love the HP and torque numbers I'm sure your car pulls like a rocket

Car will gain more with the change in the air intake soon. Runs like stock and makes that kind of power. It's unreal. Once that happens, I can't wait to see the race gas tune. Should be interesting. I'm ready!
Correction to possible boost level. I am waiting to see how the motor reacts to the increased boost. GMPP heads increased the compression to a place that the motor does not like with added boost. Last edited by Juice2SS; 02-20-2015 at 07:27 PM. |
