And you might just want to install a Mild-to-Wild switch.
The mild-to-wild will open the exhaust when it would be closed. I don't think he wants it louder. The ADM controller would keep it closed all the time, which could help quiet the car down.

You can wire it either way you want when you install it.

You can but now you're looking for wires. Does it keep it closed under WOT? I know the ADM controller will...also the second part of hognutz post mentions another way to close it full time w/o ADM controller.

1. insead of removing the exhaust fuse put the fuse tap in parallel with it.
2. using a wire tap find the green and black wire to the exhaust control module and tap the relay 12 v out to that wire.

I added catless headers and always open mode is just stupid loud so now I have stock and flaps forced closed with the same relay.

there is also a simple way to use a mechanical switch to have open\stock\closed by tapping into the stock ehxaust exhaust relays ground wire.

break the connection always open, connect it always stock, ground it and the flaps will be forced closed. if I get current drain issues from my relay I will switch to this approach.

Don't the exhaust flaps work on vacuum? Meaning you can't start the car with the valves closed?

Ask your tuner what he thinks is wrong with your exhaust. He has obviously seen and heard it. We haven't...
tuner said its disrupted, thats why i wrote this thread asking if the stock cat backs have issues.

i would, but the pressure is to much for the stock cats. i might try it and see if i get any issues with it, if i do have issues the only solution is to install the ADM controller until i get a good aftermarket cat backs.

Haven't cut one open so cannot be sure.
Im going to buy the ADM controller im just still looking for it, its out of stock and cant seem to find one for sale anywhere!!
