Has anyone else made a body-colored license plate frame? The cheapest I'm finding online is about $100. There has to be a cheaper way of making one. Anyone have any ideas?

EDIT: My post count says 1337, how awesome is that?

Paint it yourself. Could do it for cheap, run over to paintscratch.com and order a can of adhesion promoter, flexible primer, paint color, and clear.

1337 is an even nerdier way of saying "leet", which in internetz terms means "awesome" or "bad ass".

Check out highendmotorsports.com. They have some colored ones, though I don't remeber seeing your color. They also have a sharp black one with either SS or RS, your choice. I'm getting the red RS one for $44.

The clear plastic I put over my plate has a blue hue to it, It doesn't hurt that the license plate itself has the right colors in it.

That looks great but my ss is orange and second it not legal in california because they make those clear covers that reflect the light from the photo inforced traffic lights so it cant take a pic of your plate number when u run the light. I went and ordered the black and orange frames today from the link above just hope its a close match.

Contact the member "Top Flight Reproductions" - they are indicated these will fit the Camaro in their thread on their permanent License Plate bracket.
