Clutch Problems
I always smell my clutch when I reverse my car? Does anyone else have the same problem?

I have not had that problem, are you going up hill in reverse?

yes all models have that problem it usually gets worse when reversing from an inclined driveway but supposedly its normal

Same here - I also smell it in 1st gear as well. I thought it might be because the car is so new (<200 miles so far) and I'm still getting use to the clutch, but based on some reading I've done - this seems like a known "issue".

yes - I smell it too but only occasionally now that the car has 1800 or so miles on the clock. It was much more noticeable/frequent in the first 500 miles.
I didn't worry and just put it down to the newness of the car and the clutch bedding in. Andy |

I noticed the smell too. But realized I was on the gas too soon at times. The clutch doesn't like to be slipped, it's on or off.

...I love the smell of a new clutch in the morning....Sadly though, it will wear in and go away...
