USB stick holds way more music than a CD can if you have bluetooth issues

I don't miss a CD player at all.

In fact, my new 2014 Silverado has one that I have never used.

Rip your Cd's to Usb in WAV for the same sound quality. Sounds much better than most other formats on the stock stereo. If you like alot of music you will need a pretty large usb drive. For bluetooth sync your phone to the car and then in audio choose bluetooth as the source.

Yes, I hate the fact that I don't have a CD player.

Oh, no, wait it's not 1999 anymore, no I do not miss it at all

At first I thought that I would and then I discovered Pandora off my Iphone. I have been introduced to so much music, from groups that I have never heard of. Create you a station, thumbs up or thumbs down to the songs/artist. I ended up subscribing to Pandora, now I am at work on Youtube, playing music at my desk. The sound quality is awesome also.

I'm old school too and have many CDs still. But embrace Bluetooth as it's standard on most cars now and you can stream music from your phone as well as use it for hands free calling. Pandora, iPod, or USB are the "wave of the present" also. However, my phone has recently decided it does not like to connect BT to my car... time for a new one I suppose.(Phone not car.) lol

Patience, I am an old timer and do use my USB but I get music off iTunes and to get my CD's to the USB I use ITunes, a real pain.

So what is WAV?

I was annoyed at one time, but I have grown used to the usb. WAV format is the way to go to download the music. MP3 wasn't that bad, but WAV captures the files in better quality.

.WAV is "Waveform Audio File" format and is used primarily in Windows and for saving uncompressed audio. Apple uses the format ALAC. unlike MP3 files, AAC are non-transferable to a non-Apple device except for CD/DVD. There is much debate on which (ALAC or WAV) sounds better. Both are called a Lossless format, so they do not loose audio quality that happens when audio files are compressed (MP3 and AAC). I'd say the main focus is in ease of transfer, and for this WAV/MP3 wins.

Thanks for the information, much appreciated.
So how do I use WAV to transfer songs from my CD's to my USB?

This.

Haven't used mine once in 3 years of ownership. Pandora is the way to go.
