Z/28 oil/water temps in normal driving

My car runs so cool in normal driving that it almost seems wrong. I know how all of the nervous nellies in here talk about a "160 thermstat" will make the car blow up and is unsafe...blah blah. Obviously, GM has determined that the Z/28 needs a lower temp thermostat to run cool enough for a track dedicated vehicle. My car runs at 169-176 water temp and 170-176 oil temp when the ambient is in the mid 40s. My ZL1 with a 160 thermostat and a larger radiator runs at 176-180 water temp and always 210 oil. So, what is everyone else seeing for there typical cruising water/oil temps?

If I remember correctly, LS7 reads oil temps from the bottom of the dry sump's oil container, which is a relatively colder place than the oil pan. So oil temp might read a bit lower, but coolant temp is puzzling. I wouldn't think GM can pass emissions with a low temp coolant thermostat? Had you driven long enough when you checked for temps?

Drove today with ambient in the low 50's and the cruising water temp stays at 172 and oil was 176 max. Anyone actually drive their Z/28? Did GM do something for the '15 model year because of high water/oil temps at the track? My ZL1s oil temp is minimum 210 and on track days it would hit 310.

+1 and LS7 comes with dry sump. The engine oil temp is measured at the bottom of the dry sump tank, which also tends to be a cooler place than the actual sump of the engine.

At cruise the supercharger is doing nothing...of course under load the supercharger is pushing a lot of heat
