Ok I will prob go with JRE. He seems the most popular. And yea I won't have anything complicated. All exhaust/intake.
Btw when I bought my car it came with a CIA called "R2C Performance" I have never heard of this brand and have no idea why somebody would buy it when there are other proven/popular/better looking ones out. Also I don't here any suction from it like some do. Should I get a new one before tune? |

I haven't gotten my tune from dyno Steve yet due to an issue with the hand held tuner I bought. But Steve has had best customer service I've experienced in a long time. If he is close to as dedicated with tuning as he is with helping people get the right products then I'm sure his tunes are top notch. I have no fear getting my tune from him. He has gone out of his way to fix an issue that I had with another company that had nothing to do with him just to make it right and help me out.

The R2C seems like a good air intake just not as popular or well known.

Why get a "mail order" tune when you can get into a chassis dyno by a competent tuner that's been around a while like RPM?
It's a one stop shop, great way to build a relationship with a tuner as well to discuss things face to face.

Everybody is going to tell you who they went with, as its obviously the best choice, do some of your own research and pick a tuner based on that. Asking who is best on C5 will most likely just get you to who is the most popular.
Here is a bit of fun, ask some of these people to see data-logs of their tunes, then you'll see who the good tuners are.

I think you're going to do well either way, but I went with dynosteve on the SCT X4. I am extremely happy with the results.

Ryan at GPI is the best hands down! First off his own car has been the fastest car part for part on this site! Every car he gets his hands on goes faster then it did with the tune before his. This includes my own and my car was dyno tuned by a very reputable shop! All his bolton tunes have had these cars in the 11s or Damn near it! Do some research on GPI tuned cars and you will see.

Do you already have the device? It cost me around $600 to get my bolt-ons remote tune from JRE when it was all said and done.
