Race Ramps came in! Boy, I REALLY like those...
Great with my ZL1 wheels: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So, I installed the ZL1 belly pan I purchased from Gen5DIY over my lunch break. Got 1/4 X 3/4 stainless self taping screws and went to town. Turned out great: ![]() ![]() ![]() Oil Change will take longer, but heck that's only a couple of times a year ;o) Next, when it comes in, will be the ZL1 trunk lid and Spoiler with brake light. I got the adapter kit from Gen5DIY so that will be sweet! More to come... -Don

While I'm waiting for the trunk, the next update is the deflectors for the right and left side of the fenders (ZL1). Pretty simple to install and this pretty much completes the basic ZL1 updates (minus the grill):
Part number 22757643: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Took it out to test the belly pan and deflectors -- no missing parts when I got back! ;o) -Don

Wow, incredible details you invested documenting bring your build. Great job. I read some but not all. When i get some more free time I am definitely read it into a little more detail.

Shoot, car is not ready for inspection. I disconnected the battery during the differential install and the two systems, EVAP and EGR/VVT are not ready yet. Have not driven the car enough yet it appears..
Checking with Ryan just to be sure... -Don

Well, found brake fluid on the master cylinder after the 'get it ready for inspection' drive cycle -- turns out the master cylinder cap was leaking. I saw on other threads this could happen so when I did the ZL1 brake upgrades, I got one -- save it aside as the original was not leaking.
So replaced it and now, dry as a bone! Keep a lookout for this -- I usually do an inspection after every drive during the 'trial' run on major changes... -Don

Thanks! Those ramps are great. I'm lowered and needed a way to still work without jack stands. Driving up the ramps is a snap. Very easy... They have a lot of options... I have an angled drive way and they are perfect with that combo...

If you are really lowered, they have extensions that work on theses also...

And now you've got me looking at the ramps as well. It's a shame they're so expensive, but they look like they're worth it.

214 shipped from Amazon. I know they are higher than most. They do have a lot of options. It's working good for me. They do have taller ones. I'm looking @ those also..
