Pfadt made some of the best suspension parts for our cars. They closed down. And Apex Motorsports was able to work with the owner of Pfadt and get the ability to bring their springs back under the Apex name.

BMR also has a new 1.25 Spring.

I think 1" to 1.25" is as far as I would go.

I have coilovers and I set my about 2.0 lower and man you gotta be careful especially with a splitter.

I bought a set of BMR 1" springs 2 years ago, I'm thinking of finally getting around to installing them in the spring lol. For most it's their preference, you like it lowered a little or you like it slammed.......

I also went with the Apex 1.25" springs. I chose these because they are progressive and for at least another year or so this car will just be my DD. The progressive springs give a better ride, but they are not what the suspension was tuned for so I dont think they will be optimal for tracking.

Soon I will get another car and start tracking the 1LE, at which point I will add coilovers or put the stock linear springs back on.

If you plan to track with the drop springs, then I would use a linear spring like the BMR 1" or 1.25" drop springs.

I heard a rumor that Pfadt was back up and running. Their website sure looks like it too! http://www.pfadtracing.com/

Look at these from Justice Pete.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...wering+knuckle

If link don't work just search "lowering knuckle" in the suspension thread. It's a 1" drop without affecting the suspensions geometry. It's all done with the knuckle.

I just bought the BMR 1.25 springs.
Hopefully this will do the trick and cure me of my modding disease...

I went with Bmr 1.4" all around and 3 months later i took them off because of the ride quality was just to harsh and as far as the stance it looks really good if its what you're looking for
